Wild, sexy yet edgy

Wild, sexy yet edgy that was my first impression of Aishah Angle. A girl from Canada but lived in Mexico for the past few years. She is 19 years old and an Au pair in Madrid for 6 months. She loves traveling, hanging out with her friends, and listening music. She was so fun to work with; we were chatting and gossiping all the way like two high school friends. She has a beautiful face with tanned skin and a nice figure, so it wasn't hard to style her since everything looks good on her.

To incorporate her wild and sexy looks, I gave her a black leather skirt, a shiny black knit dress and an animal print dress with some bold accesories. However I toned it down with a plain, edgy top and motorcycle crop jacket. She looked so stunning!!

Doll Look

Ellie Farlow is a quirky girl from New South Wales. She just graduated from high school in New South Wales and while waiting her university in Sydney, she became an Au Pair in Madrid. She is very funny, very enthusiastic and a bright young girl. I love being around her. She is so alive, always joking around and loves doing some quirky moves. I think she is very unique and pretty. And what intrigued me to style and shoot her are her fascinating features. She has a unique face, beautiful big, dark, curly hair and pale skin, creating a great contrast.
Ellie loves to wear doll-like clothing, feminine clothes with a quirky sense or rock and roll with girly touch. First look is doll-like clothing which suit her so well. Her favorite colors are pink, black, white, and any bright colors. So I incorporate all those and give her 3 different doll looks

Rock and Roll Princess

Ellie Farlow loves to wear black clothes. It suit her well as she has a pale skin and big, black hair. To incorporate her rock and roll taste in feminine way, I chose a little black dress with her favorite ankle boots and gold accesorises. She looks really stunning!

It was not only fun to work with her, but the icing in the cake was she is so good as a model. It was amazing to shoot her; she has the moves, the face and everything right in every photo. I was so amazed by her natural talent. At the end it was so hard for me to pick her pictures because almost every single picture is so good! If there was something wrong with the pictures, it was mostly because my unprofessional camera-work. I really think she can be a good model!

Breakaway

Sandra Schennach is a strong and independent woman from Innsburk, Austria. After having 10 years relationship with her boyfriend she dared to say that this was not the life she wanted and it was not the direction she wanted to be in. She really knows who she is and what she wants in live. I guess not a lot of women (from my country) know this, especially after being so long together with someone. And this time, she chose to breakaway and slow down for a while in Madrid.

She is very tough 30 years old business women for a publishing company. She publish books and DVDs about wind surfing and kite surfing. Besides doing sports; wind surfing, biking, skiing, she also loves to do some art work, and to travel. She has been in South Africa, Cabo Verde Island, Egypt, Philippine, Colombia and many more. On daily routine she loves to wear casual t-shirt and jeans skirt or long pants. However when she met me she told me that she trusted me and she was up to anything I gave her. It was a pleasure to work with her as she was so enthusiastic and really committed with the shoot and everything she wore. So I was doing a little bit experiment by giving her many different looks and themes. And these are the 2 looks she like the most; boho and sleek look.

Pamplona - white and red

On July 6th every year, people in Spain celebrate the festival of San Fermin, known as Pamplona running of the bulls. Once the mayor officially announces that the festival has begun and the rocket is launched, the partying begins. The festival takes a full week, every morning people run with the Bulls and parties all day all night long. Millions of people around the world comes to Pamplona just for the festival. I went there only for the weekend with some friends from USA, Holland, Tibet, and Spain. It was a great experience to see all those people. I could hear so many people talking with different languages; German, France, Japanese. The town is really over loaded with people and it was hard sometimes just walking across people or trying to enter a bar. People were sleeping in the park, bus station, street, basically everywhere in the town.

One of the think that interest me was the traditional clothes that everyone wore; white on white clothes with a red syal and red flowy belt. The whole town full with people wearing white and red outfit. Taking from those colors which still will be the colors for fall 2012; white and red, I picked some of the people that wore those colors on the streets as well as some people that I styled.

Peach with Lime Green?

I love colors!! Mixing colors and prints is one thing I like to experiment with. Sometimes I use one color or item to become my inspiration. And since this summer, pastel become the color for the season, I chose peach to be my base color and work around it by mixing some pattern and other colors. However, mixing only pastel would be too boring and ordinary. I love being bold and mixing other color tone and be a little bit playful. So to shake the pastel tone I add a bright color accessory. I chose one of my favorite bag, lime green oversize clutch from Zara, to give more playful touch on the looks. And yeah, peach with lime green works!!

Fashion statement from a Posh German

3 months ago when I first met Tim S., a 19 years old student from Munich business school, I was thinking "this guy has some good fashion going on." He clothed very neatly and his style screamed posh. Then I figure it out that he came from a private school in Berlin. He loves to wear tailored clothes, fitted shirt and to combine high end brands with mid brands.

After I met him again last month I started to take more notice on how he dressed. I think he is the first guy who I've ever known has character in his style. I mean I've seen a lot of stylist guy in my life, but they mostly just copy looks from magazines, look books or the newest trend in the shelf. However Tim really knows himself and he incorporates trends with his own take on fashion. I love the way he does small things with his clothes that showing his trademark, like rolled up his jeans or just pushing them up into his knee or wear washed and dirty cool sneakers with a fitted suit. He really has his own trademark that gives a fashion statement.

Giggly girl - inspired by Topshop "Scandi Girl" collection

It was such a revelation to meet Melanie, 18 years old high school student from Geneva, as I could see the reflection of me on her when I was younger. I used to love using over size top, weird looking clothes and vintage clothes. Obviously I am not that young anymore so I changed the way I clothed. But sometimes I miss this kind of looks. So after our first meeting I asked her right away if she would do the photo shoot with me. And amazingly she agreed right away.

Melanie is so giggly and funny. We were just laughing and giggling all the way. Funny enough, I had to stop her from laughing. It sounds so familiar because usually I am the one who is in her shoes and people have to stop me from laughing. After all, it was so much fun to styled and worked with her. It was so far the easiest and the fastest work and photo shoot I did. Being inspired by Topshop Autumn 2012 collection, Scandi Girl, I was cooperating those looks with my own interpretation for pre-Autumn looks, which I added some color accent, hat and animal print. Thank you Melanie to make me feel young again!!
